Deviation from AMO (Option 2) SMS Implementation
OTAR 145.25 requires that Aircraft Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) establish a Safety Management System (SMS). In order to provide organisations sufficient time to establish an acceptable SMS, the BCAA has issued a Deviation from this requirement valid until 31st December 2017. After this date a Bermuda approved OTAR 145 organisation, Option 2, must have an acceptable SMS in place.
